I'm a software developer currently residing in Lisbon, Portugal.
Most of my experience developing software revolves around Microsoft technologies namely C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and SharePoint, but I'm also confortable using Python, Ruby and Javascript.
Regarding software platforms, I've used or developed for Windows, GNU/Linux (mostly Debian-based distros) and OSX. I enjoy using all of them and have no general preference. I'm also quite interested in mobile plataforms especially Android but I believe HTML5 and Javascript-based apps are the future.
I love to come up with simple solutions to all kinds of problems and I pride myself of being a pragmatic person when it comes to writing software.
I spend most of my time messing with computers, usually learning about some new programming language, practicing new techniques or just writing random pieces of software to keep my skills sharp.
When I'm not sitting in front of a keyboard, I like to spend the rest of my time reading. I mostly enjoy science fiction, fantasy, philosophy and classic literature books but I'll read just about anything.
I'm not very fond of social networks so you won't find me on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or the likes of it.
